Noticed this, thought it was funny

just outside Chicago
was about to send an email to someone and noticed that in the cc/bcc line it said username@mac.com instead of me.com. i never had .mac. if i change it will it screw things up? should i be concerned?

should I change the mac.com to me.com in my iphone?
