So whenever i get a text message or Skype notification, it takes like 20 seconds for my watch to receive it. first my mac shows me the text, then my phone, and lastly my watch. How can i make this faster?

Mine is starting to do this as well. Restarting the phone helps for a bit. I think it's a bug Apple will have to fix.

I actually had just the opposite happen to me today. Got the notification on the Watch before the iPhone got it.

hey do you know if its possible to play music on the watch? also how do i download photos or music?

1. Why ask this question in this thread? There are other threads dealing with this.

2. Did you read the manual? This is clearly answered in the manual.

Let me get this straight: "forever = 20 seconds"? Are you Usain Bolt running the 200m?

It may surprise you, but neither your phone, watch or iPhone check for messages/notifications every nanosecond. They do it at certain intervals, and the notification displaying will vary depending on device. I'm not sure of the interval for the Watch, but it is definitely under 30 seconds. This saves on battery power. So you could conceivably see a delay of 30 seconds between devices.

I have an iMac, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Apple Watch (phew!). When messages come in, things buzz, beep and vibrate at random intervals for about 20-30 seconds. The Watch sometimes buzzes first, sometimes last. I don't sweat it.

The battery life sucks on my watch.
