iOS Notifcations through Bluetooth

Hey guys, is there a way to send some kind of notification such as an apple push notification or an UIAlert through bluetooth. I don't need the text to be that big, for example 256 bits is plenty large that's why I am wondering if an APN can be sent through Bluetooth. Or is there a more effiecent way to send a small notification like that other than bluetooth?

Not really. Bluetooth is amazingly locked down. You could look at using GameKit which can communicate over bluetooth...
