On my iPad Pro 11" , iOS 16.1.1, under Notifications, I found
Apple Watch keyboard
Where is it? How does it work?

If you tap into a text box on the watch, a notification will appear on the iPad (and/or iPhone). You can tap it to bring up a keyboard for easier typing.
