Why is the font size used to show notifications in the notification center so huge? It means it can only fit ~4 on the screen at a time!

I thought the great thing about Notification Center was that it let you see lots of information at a glance, without excessive scrolling and clicking. Not so in iOS 7.

The sad part is that the notifications look great when they first appear at the top of the screen, but once they get to Notification Center they get super-sized.

I have tried adjusting the global Text Size in settings -> general -> text size. Is it just me or does this have no effect on Notification Center?

It was changed in b2 or 3 can't remember which but using both bigger is better for a glancing overview

I absolutely disagree. I can appreciate that some people prefer large fonts, but should at least respect the global font size set in the settings.

Bigger is not better for glancing overview, because many important things may now be off screen. This is compounded by it always showing 5 items for each app (wasn't there a setting to change this in iOS 6? I can't find it in iOS 7). You now have to do either a lot of scrolling or a lot of tapping at the "clear" buttons.

There was also a nice symmetry before with the top-of-screen notifications bar appearing similar to the way notifications do inside the notification centre. That has been lost now.

I agree, the font is way too large. Probably one of the things I hate most about iOS 7, actually. I have to scroll on the homescreen to see all my notifications way too frequently.

The HUGE font is awful. Let users decide how they wish to view the notification center feed. Also, instead of the graphical next 6 hours calendar view I'd like to get the old iOS 6 list of the next 5 or 10 events on my calenday.

I agree wholeheartedly.

And I cannot understand why it wouldn't be changed by the general font size. Hate it.

I completely agree. Absolutely NOTHING about the new Notification Centre is better or more user friendly than what we had in ios6 but the font size is the most annoying 'feature'.

The fact that we can change the font size system-wide is a great new addition so not applying this to NC is ridiculous.

Hopefully just an oversight rather than permanent.

And as for Calendar in NC, well, enough threads have been create about this I needn't bother. Awful.
