Hi! So I installed iOS 5 GM and I was wondering if the apps actually need to be running for notifications can be shown. I had my iPad clear of all apps this morning and was waiting for notifications to show up either on my lock screen or the little bar up on top. Nothing. Everything showed up once I started having all the apps running in the background. Does this happen to you guys too?

Sorry, I'm not running unreleased software and can't answer your question.

Mine is working fine, have you actually configured the apps in the notification center?
