Notification centre - clear all/remove old

Does anyone know of a way to clear all or remove old notifications en-block? I'm getting fed up with having to get rid of notifications that are dozens of days old and that only appear after I delete earlier ones.

OK, worked this out as best I can. No way to do this unless you switch to group by day and not by app.
