Notification centre query

If you have multiple calendars (i.e. shared by others) available in the calendar app, is there any way to not show them in the notification centre?

Currently the calendar section in the notification centre is saying 'you have two items scheduled for 14:00' when in actual fact only one event is in my calendar. The other event is in a shared calendar that I just happen to have access to.

I know I can switch off the calendar in the actual calendar app, but I would prefer not to have to keep toggling calendars on and off.

The app would need their own widget. Once Yosemite comes out, developers can update their apps with widgets for notification center.

EDIT: Whoops, I thought you meant a different calendar app. I don't think it shows shared calendars, only ones you've inputted. I might be wrong. The widget is very barebones. Missing all-day events and shared calendars (I suppose).
