Okay, this is driving me crazy.

My watch is not vibrating when I receive a notification. The notification appears on the watch, but I only see these after if I manually check it.

Sometimes I receive a notification for iMessages. But not getting anything for Facebook.

My iPhone is locked.

Any help will be appreciated. I'm using an Apple Watch Series 3.

(1) Make sure within the Watch App that notifications are set up as desired.
(2) Reboot the AW
and if none of that does the trick (3) unpair/pair AW and phone

By default, your Apple Watch notifications are set up to mirror your iPhone settings. For built-in apps, you can customize the notifications on your Apple Watch:
  1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap the My Watch tab, then tap Notifications.
  3. Tap an app. If you want the app's notification settings to mirror settings on your iPhone, tap Mirror my iPhone. If you want to use different notification settings just for your Apple Watch, tap Custom.
For third-party apps, you can turn off notifications. Scroll down to the Mirror iPhone Alerts From section and turn off the setting next to the app.

Hi guys.

Thanks for the helpful responses.

I have tried rebooting both phone and AW.

Also, everything was working yesterday. All settings are the same as you mentioned.

Very frustrating. If I re-pair, will I loose my settings?
[doublepost=1507414605][/doublepost]Okay, so the notification is coming on my watch.

I’m missing it as my watch is not vibrating. I am noticing this with 3rd party apps.

Watch is not on silent, etc.

Is the Watch vibrating at all? Try doing other things that normally trigger haptic feedback, e.g. 3D Touching something or scrolling to the end of a list.

If it's working in that context, it must be a software issue. Try turning on Prominent Haptic to see if it kicks it back into gear.

Phone is set to vibrate when on silent.

I just went to sleep with the Apple Watch on and had it on silent.

Got a few emails throughout the night and of course no vibration on my watch.

However, when I manually check the watch (swipe down) after dismissing sleep mode, it says no notifications. But they’re there on my phone!

I reset my AW to factory settings and did a clean set-up.

I just notice now that I'm not getting FB and Instagram notifications. They come up on the watch, but don't give me a ping like other notifications, which work fine.

Should I exchange my Apple Watch which may be faulty?

I don’t get Instagram Haptics other than a direct message. I never have.
