Notification Issue

Is anyone having any notification issues with they iPhone at all?

I've got an iPhone 8 Plus and notifications are very hit or miss. they either work fine or nothing comes through - for instance with WhatsApp I may have 0 notifications, but as soon as I open the app I can have 5/6 unread messages. Same with emails nothing gets pushed through yet when I open the app it pulls them through, and it is also happening with Twitter too

I've turned notifications off and back on, and they are all set up to push through etc so its nothing to do with my settings

Nope. It doesn’t bother me as much. Social media is not a big deal for me.
