Notification issues with iOS 7.1

So I have noticed in the last couple of days That my iPhone 5s running iOS 7.1 will not play the notification sound on some of my notification. I thought it just might be issue with my iPhone 5s (which I have had no issues with up until this point), but then my brother said he was having the same issues with his iPod touch 5 gen. Is there a known issue with iOS 7.1?

And yes I did install from my computer not OTA. We don't use the same computer, and my brother also did the update on his computer.

It seems to be emails most of the time. I have 3 emails connected to the email app. I have a gmail, yahoo, and exchange email account. Each have not had an email notification go off.
