Notification on Apple Watch without banner / lock screen activated on iPhone

Is any one able to receive notification on their Apple Watch without the notification "banner" and/o

Is any one able to receive notification on their Apple Watch without the notification "banner" and/or "lock screen" activated on their iPhone? I have looked on many forums and I see that some people have the same question but no where do I find a solution of a clear answer.

I am in contact with Apple Support and when I have an answer I will let you all know.
