Returning to the iPhone after a few years of being an Android Note III user.

Notification Questions:

1. Any way to push notifications to the lock screen so when I click my phone on, I can see the latest and greatest "happening" without unlocking the phone?

2. Have the phone set to turn screen off and lock after 5 minutes. Any way to have it turn itself on every time a notification comes in? I know some people don't like this as it wastes battery.
