Notifications and screen waking up

Hello all,

I have an apple watch series 1. I was wondering if it was possible for the apple watch screen to go on when i get a notification. Now i only get a taptic vibrate but the screens stays off until i tap it or move the watch like the wrist movement.

No, logic is if you are not looking at it there is no point in lighting up and eating battery.
