There are threads on other Non Macrumor groups regarding this but I can’t see one on here. Since upgrading to IOS 26 (17 Pro Max and AW ultra), the notifications that come through to the watch disappear when you unlock and use your iPhone. The only notifications that stay on the watch are the activity ones. Someone said this is resolved in the current IOS beta. Can anyone confirm please? Thanks.

I've not noticed this but isn't that a "by design" thing? If you read the notification on your iPhone shouldn't it disappear from the watch's Notification Centre (them having a shared list of notifications so to speak) or am I misunderstanding the process/effect at play here?

You don’t read them on your Iphone though. You just open your iPhone and they disappear. It’s a bug that is fixed in the betas.

OK, so what you are saying is you get notifications on the watch (eg emails, iMessage, WhatsApp etc), you don't read them on there so they go into the Notification Centre, you then unlock your iPhone and use it but don't look at the associated notifications on there but they are being removed from the watch anyway? I've not noticed this myself but I've not looked for it until now - I will try to see if this happens to me though. I'm on stock iOS/WatchOS 26 so I assume I'll be affected given you say it's fixed in betas?
