I have apps like CNBC real time installed and I'm not getting notifications when a news alert occurs. I did in previous betas but not in the GM. I tested iCal and that worked for reminders, but I haven't gotten anything since I installed GM when it comes to CNBC, CNN, etc. for now I've reinstalled the apps. Is there anything I can do?

Make sure notifications for these apps are enabled in the notification center settings

Some of the betas and GM's, I had to do an additional reboot after OS installation to get push working.

I got a cnbc alert today. Deleting and reinstalling the app seemed to help as well. I'm sure rebooting helps too.

I actually posted a question like this a week ago. I figured out that your apps need to be running in the background and can't be turned off if you want notifications to show for that app.
