Notifications on both AW and iPhone?

Is it possible to get the same notification on both the watch and the iPhone? For example, a text message. Or does it just sound and show on the watch?

You should get it on both, but it will only sound on the watch if your phone is not active.

Alerts only on watch if phone is locked. This should be a setting. Just because my phone is unlocked doesn’t mean I’m looking at it (or even near it). My preference would be for all alerts on my watch as long as I’m wearing it.

I have the watch set to mirror the phone for most apps and the sound seems great on the watch when the phone is not active - which seems to work great for me.

Are you concerned that the watch may not sound off and the the phone is more consistent?
