Notifications Slow After Pairing Apple Watch

So, everything has been going great with my Apple Watch except for one annoying issue.

Text and E-Mail notifications are slow. Not just to the watch, but to the phone as well. Ever since I paired the watch, notifications went from extremely quick, usually faster than my Outlook or OWA to 1-3 minutes depending.

Anyone else have this issue?
