Hey all. Since updating my Series 5 to WatchOS 8 last night, notifications are popping up on my display (since it's an always on) even if I'm not looking at the watch with everything dimmed (i.e. when a text comes through, instead of looking down and still seeing my dimmed watch face, it actually shows I have a text from someone, but not the content). Does anyone know if this is a bug or something that is intentional and can be turned off in a setting as I don't love going about my day and others being able to see when notifications come through. Is this happening with anyone else?

I figured it out. It was a setting I had to turn off on the watch itself (Show Notifications on Wrist Down). Feel dumb now for even posting before taking a dive into the settings. This can be marked as resolved.

while going thru watch (titanium S7) I too found that and with no reason to use have shut it down along with duplicating CarPlay Maps when driving. Have no need for either personally.
