Notifications very buggy on Vz iPhone4

Yes, I've set preferences correctly.

Sometimes I get alerts, sometimes I get banners. (set to banners)
No Notification Ctr in Lock Screen. (it's set correctly)

You would have thought this would be flawless after all the beta's and since jailbreak apps and Android have been doing fairly well for some time.

Also, iOs5 on iPad 1 is no big whoop plus it stutters when I type now.

Longtime Apple fan with QC iMac, MBA, etc but Apple doesn't always do well at launch time.

For all of their innovation they sometimes suck at implementation.

Perfectly fine on my iPhone 4 for verizon maybe you had a bad install?
