Hi all,

I use iChat right now for my Google Talk needs, and I noticed it's often difficult to see if I've received a chat while in full screen mode (you can't see the top menu bar or the dock). Is there any way to set up notifications so that you'll see whenever you get a message, even in something like full screen Safari?

I can't offer what you're looking for and hopefully somebody can, however I typically check simply by going into Mission Control, which will expose the Dock. If you want to see your Menu bar in full-screen apps, just drag your mouse to the top of the screen.

Right, and I know I can also always expose the dock by putting my mouse against that edge of the screen... but it would be nice if there was a way to get a notification without actually going and looking for it.

Thanks for the thoughts though!

Do growl notifications still get displayed while in full screen apps?
