Hi,

I've put iPhone, iPad and Watch on the silent mode. Today at the end of the day I still have on my watch around 70% battery. So I didn't put the Watch on the charger. And I would like to know If I can use the Watch another day. But there is a thing. I was watching a movie and left all those devices on the table and turn the silent mode off on the Watch. I thought that If I get a message the Watch would get a notification and play me the "ping" sound. But it didn't. Do I have to set something or this feature doesn't exist?

Look at the Apple Watch app on the iPhone and go to notifications and then messages. You are probably set to mirror your iphone. I use the custom and set to no sound but alerts and haptic.

I assume that is your problem

This is how notifications work:

If iPhone is locked and watch is on your wrist: - notifications go to the watch
If iPhone is being used and watch is on your wrist - notifications go to the iPhone.
If iPhone is locked and watch is NOT on your wrist - Notifications go to iPhone.
