I'm thinking of getting an Apple Watch and from reading about I understand that I only get notification on one device depending on the situation. I was wondering though if I get a notification on my watch and ignore it, will it still shows in the notification history on my iPhone?

If you delete it on your watch it will disappear on your iphone

Thanks for the reply but what happens if I don't delete it? Will it then appear in my notification history on the iPhone?

It's not clear from the Apple info if you end up with two separate notification histories (one for the watch and one for the iPhone) or if they combine no matter which one gives the initial alert.

if you view the notification and click dismiss it will disappear on your iPhone. Just ignoring it on your watch it will remain yes.
