Notifications

I need to be able to get notifications on my phone. Since I got my Apple Watch they are not coming through on my phone.

Notifications will only go to one or the other. If your iphone is unlocked you will see notifications on your iphone, if your iphone is locked notifications will go to your watch.

if they go to the watch, they still appear on the phone's lock screen it just doesn't make any noise on the phone.

I use this a lot, especially in winter, it's easier to get my phone out of a pocket when the watch buzzes, than it is to deal with multiple sleeves and gloves to get to my wrist so I can see the watch.

There is a whole lot of customization possible, on your phone, go to the watch app and go through the notification settings... it ranges from “mirror iPhone” to “turn notifications off” ... make your choices
