"Notify Me"

Im sorry but does anyone else absolutely despise the words "Notify Me" on the apple website at the iPad page? I know i wouldnt be able to get the iPad right away even if it said preorder but i just want to get the preorder done with but i canttttt.

I don't believe they can offer the preorder without FCC approval

It seems unlikely they would put a button the page to notify us when it will be for sale and then not have a preorder button.

They better have preorders! I don't want to have to stand in line or check their availability page (which is usually innacurate).
