Notify When Left Behind for Apple Leather Wallet on Apple Watch

I do get a notification when my Apple Wallet is detached from my iPhone but the notification is only on my phone... I do not get the notification on my Apple Watch. Is this by design or a limitation? I would like to also get the notification on my Apple Watch (Series 5 Ti).

So I just got an Apple Magsafe Wallet to go with my new 14 and I’m also wondering why the “wallet detached“ notification does not go to my Watch when I have Find My notifications to mirror my phone.

And not to mention, why in the world doesn’t the Magsafe Wallet detached notification have the option to create a location based (home) exception?

Very strange oversights.

Wow i thought i had maybe done something to a setting and mucked something up as i too do not receive the notification on my Apple Watch but only on my iPhone when i detach my Apple MagSafe Leather Wallet.

So is this normal behaviour or is there a way to make it send a notification to the Watch also?

Yeah I must say, part of my nightly routine involves dismissing the phone notification that my wallet was detached at my home address. I also never understood why it’s not a watch-worthy notification.

Many years after the release of the Apple Magsafe Wallet and still no change to the behavior with wallet notifications on an Apple Watch and being able to exclude the notification when wallet is taken off at home. Such a strange decision to be missing these features.

Funny since it’s been a long annoyance of mine and searched for any recent discussion on this topic now that iOS 26 is out and found this thread with a reply from me almost exactly 3 years ago. I guess it’s not that big of a deal for most.
