What with the update/price drop recently, is now a good time to be buying without fear of updates any time soon?

I'm a student so what with the education discount, I could get a white MacBook at a pretty good price.

Anytime is a good time to buy a MacBook! They will always be making changes and setting new prices. If you're wanting one, and you're ready for one, get one.

I would honestly give it about a month or two. I'm sure there will be some kinks in the new MBP's. Best wait till they're identified and fixed. Two months isn't that long of a wait to get a solid laptop.

It's a good time in the cycle of MBP updates, they've just been updated. What makes it better is the education promo on (free iPod and printer). If I were in the market for a new Mac, I'd go for it.
