... I just saw the first christmas advert by Coca Cola. To me that's always been the definition of when Christmas starts, since they don't seem to start advertising for Christmas in October like ASDA does.

I don't start feeling Christmassy or getting the Christmas spirit until the Coca Cola adverts start. Guess I should start my Christmas shopping soon now...

Do you mean the one with the dodgy Santa-stalking woman who gives him a bottle of pop at the end? It's been on for a good fortnight or so already, so you're already a little behind with your shopping I'm afraid. ;)

For me its when starbucks does their holiday red cups... i love me some white choc. mocha. :D

I must admit, I agree. Heres to Christmas.

We put the Christmas decorations up in the shop last week (under great protest from myself - it was still November, after all), but now I'm starting to fell a little Christmassy. Especially after watching Nigella cooking glazed ham and christmas cake on TV last night! All I need now are a mince pie and the repeats of 'Delia Smith's Christmas' on one of the Sky Digital channels and I'll be set!

Holidaysacomin, holidaysacomin

I remember watching one of the ITV Saturday morning children shows (mmm Holly) when two hyenas did that in front of the presenters, mid sentence. It only lasted a few seconds but it made laugh until I cried.

Yes, I know I'm a sad twenty-something! ;)

I remember the Coca-Cola commercial that went something like that. I think it had a train in it. That one reminds me that Christmas is almost here. :)

Thats the one thats being talked about. Annually played around Christmas time.

Freaky you should say that. Caroline said the exact same thing just yesterday. And with you sorta knowing her sister and all.

Hahaha! Its a strange small world we live in!! Next, I'll be up Manchester way, looking out for people mumbling "holidaysarecoming, holidaysarecoming"...

It feels more like "Christmas" tonight, because I'm near Washington, DC...and the first SNOW of the season started a few minutes ago!

Snow, I want snow!! I want a white Christmas... and I want to see a coca cola truck driven by santa claws with thousands of lights on it drive by!!

It's Christmas for me when the before-Thanksgiving Christmas commercials start playing on TV. Actually, it's officially Christmas when I start getting sodomized by those pretentious give-your-trophy-wife-a-Lexus ads that start playing non-stop until December 26.

Christmas season seems to start earlier and earlier each year.

I saw a Christmas tree and lights in a nearby house at the beginning of November.

I just hope we get some snow or at least a heavy frost on Christmas Day.

Oh! It's not Christmas just yet until Andrex show the puppy/slide/Slade advert. or at least, not fully Christmas :D

Just got my hands on Cassette Boy's Christmas song. Looks to be a champion 15 minutes of goodness.
