Yeah so what exactly is your point?? The jb exploits a flaw already there. It's not like they created the flaw...that was Apple's doing.

Except after you jailbreak, you can install a program in Cydia to warn you everytime websites trying to use this exploit so Jailbroken phones is pretty much safe at the moment whereas unjailbroken phones is still waiting for Apple to release the patch....

Seems to me like Mcaffee is trying to scare people into thinking they are vulnerable so that they buy some kind of exploit protection from them. Sounds like mafia tactics to me.

Have to reiterate what maturola is saying: the jailbreak did not cause the exploit, it (1) takes advantage of it, and (2) allows you to be able to patch it.

fear is good, and common, advertising. look around, you'll notice it all the time.
