So was just looking at the new MBPs. I currently have a late 2016 MBP which does everything I need it to and works perfectly, I don’t really need a new laptop right now.

My concern is, I can currently get 730 dollars for my MacBook for trade in and it’s no longer under warranty. So keep it and take the chance of it being worth nothing at any point in time or go ahead and bite the bullet and upgrade earlier than I’d like?
