Now playing broken for Spotify on AW?

My phone and watch are both up to date with the latest software updates.

I noticed today that I can no longer control play/pause, forward/back, etc on my Apple Watch when playing Spotify on my phone. If I use the Music app on my phone, it works. If I use the Spotify app, it doesn't.

Am I missing something here? Did something in the way this works change with iOS 17,etc?
