“Now playing” frequently delayed

I use my Apple Watch frequently while driving to quickly change to the next song etc, or while walking with AirPods etc, and for whatever reason, the past several months, “Now Playing” is not corresponding with what’s on my iPhone. It can fall behind by a song or two sometimes, and volume changes etc aren’t working anymore. I’ve unpaired my watch, setup as new device, fully updated on my 11 Pro and my S4 Watch.

anyone else having this problem?

Yeah I’ve seen this problem from time to time but my watch seem to fix it by itself once I bring the now playing card to foreground.
