Now Playing Netflix From iPhone

I used to be able to control Netflix (Pause/Play and volume) from my Apple Watch series 3 when it was playing from my iPhone 7. The Now Playing is where it would always pop up whenever I had Netflix playing on my phone. For months now I haven't been able to do that. Any fixes or has anyone else experienced this?

I noticed the same thing. Have my iPhone connected via HDMI to my TV. Was very convenient when it worked. Not sure what changed.

I watch Netflix at work and it's very convenient to pause real quick to answer a phone. I need it back.

Yeah, I used it in my home gym and it was nice to pause it when I had to take a leak or refill my water.

Netflix updates very often. Would they be able to break that feature?
