Hi

As of today, I am the proud owner of an iPhone. Actually myself and my partner BOTH purchased the iPhone.

Given this, how can we effectively use the IPod Touch that we have. I would hate to see such an expensive device collect dust.

Any ideas for effective use?

Thanks

Jay

I would sell it.
I may sell my phone and move to a touch + verizon. If that happens, both the 1st gen and 2nd gen phones get tossed on eBay.

Hey you are in the same boat as I was in! congrats!
I had a 16GB iPod touch and decided to buy an iPhone on Saturday.

I gave my iPod touch to my fiancé.
I checked online too, you should be able to get around $150 for it if you choose to sell it.

My vote is, give it to a family member or sell it!

I use mine for my daughter to play or for me to play music on when I know I'm not going to be around a charger all day. I also use it to play video games on in the airport when I don't want to drain my iPhone.

you can sell it. If you have been around here long enough and have enough posts you can sell in MR Marketplace - a very neat place to sell stuff. Or just throw it out, but that would be wasteful, don't you think?

I have a 1G and a 2G Touch.

My 1G is pretty much relegated to being hooked up to my home stereo system as pocket-sized juke-box and will be a radio-tuner too when I upgrade to 2.2 and get a radio app.

I might sell it (the 1G) one day but I like having the 2G on-the-go and just leaving the 1G as is as part of the stereo system.
