Is it really worth it going over 4.1 as I have right now on the i4?

Is 4.2.1 better with:
Proximity Sensor?
Jailbroken Apps?

I don't have apple TV so.. Is airplay all that useful?

Just wondering...

Thanks

Are you still having trouble with your proximity sensor? I was in the beginning, but haven't in ages. It must have been fixed in one of the software updates. I haven't had my iPhone 4 jail broken at all so I've been with the newest firmware at all times. My guess is that it would fix your issue with the proximity sensor. This is purely a guess though.

Are others still experiencing problems with the proximity sensor?

Oh, and I'm never going to pretend to know more than Applejuiced. He is like the jailbreak god around here.

Honestly I'd wait for 4.3

Features in 4.2.1 really aren't worth it.

But Personal Hotspot will be more than worth it! ;)

Yes.. that is precisely what I was thinking...

I use mywi.. and with w7 oyu have to manually connect to the network as it will NOT auto connect... No matter what I do...

So having the ability to have the chip in infrastructure mode will work wonders and worth the hassle.

But now.. still.. not so sure...

Yeah I bought TetherMe for the sole reason that it supports this natively for any carrier. That, and I need tethering for when I'm in class.

But yeah, can't wait for Personal Hotspot. :D
