I am on my third iPad, and can't leave home without it! But a huge part of the attraction is reading iBooks. Just wondering if anyone else is thinking of and Air now that iBooks is an option. It would be a pretty nice travel setup!

I don't understand. iBooks has been on the iPad for a while, so it has always been an option.

Sorry, I can see where my post is confusing. I just meant that now that iBooks is available on a MacBook Air, I am wondering if anyone else is considering an Air instead of an iPad.

Considering a Macbook Air instead of an iPad you mean?

Reading books on a laptop is still not as convenient as a tablet.

I prefer my Kindle Paperwhite for reading actually. I don't think I'd every go back to reading electronic books on a laptop or desktop.

So no, not me.

i am myself on my third ipad and yes, I will eventually sell it to buy a 11 inches mba, as most of the things I do on my ipad I could do on a mba, for the rest there's my iphone. A fully fonctionnal computer with me at all time, hell yes!

There's some sort of a mental block that doesn't allow me to read books on a laptop. Not sure why. Probably just not used to it.

I am getting an Ipad Air and will read books on it, just like my Ipad.

If you are asking about reading on a LAPTOP, make that clear. Confused what this has to do with ipads. And, I just can not see myself sitting in the can, on a plane, in bed with a laptop vs an Ipad to read.

Wait why is a MacBook thread here what are we taking about again the Air or MB?!? Lol
