Now waiting in line on launch day?

For those of you who got the delayed shipping dates, will you get in line early on 4/24?

I ordered 3 watches, the 2 for my wife and daughter are good, but mine says 5/13 to 5/27. Thinking I may try the store if my shipping date doesn't improve.

Going in tmr first thing and "trying" it on hoping to be able to purchase for in store pick up...... as they said you'd be able to do it.

There will be NO Apple Watch available to buy on launch day. The only way you're getting it on launch day is if you pre-order online...granted you are amongst the one in the first batch. As it stands right now, shipping has slipped to 4-5 wks all the way to June within minutes after online pre-order has begun.

So, if you havent pre-ordered while you're reading this, you won't be getting an Apple Watch on launch day 4/24.....unless you are forking 3x the amount or evn more on Ebay.

While i was able to secure mine for launch day delivery, I find it very odd that there will be ZERO in store stock. I mean what if I change my mind and want the stainless steel instead of the sport? Easy money for Apple to do the swap right in person!

No, because lining up is not supported on launch day. There is no line. No launch day stock in stores. Nada. Online only.

You're not going to be able to walk in on launch day and pick one up. Maybe several weeks or months after when the initial demand frenzy has died down and there is stock available on a regular basis for in store sales.
