So, my wife and I live in China. I bought a 17" powerbook in Janurary and I haven't found a sleeve for it here in China. So, my wife told me to pick out some silk material. I did. I gave it to her. After 3 days, she gave me this.

There are three pictures, so make sure you see them all.

The thing is amazing. Fits perfectly.

Very nice! Especially the screen/keyboard protection.
I would have personally gone for a different fabric design.
then again: Les goûts et les couleurs ne se discutent pas ;)

Very nice, your wife is certainly very talented. Although I wonder how much protection it'll actually provide. Oh and the 17" looks huuuge in that photo!

It provides all the protection I wanted a sleeve for.....SCRATCHES. Hate em. That's all I need it for. I usually transport in a bookbag so its pretty well insulated in that.

Oh now that is just beautiful. She should design some like that and sell them. She could probably get $40 for each one (being silk and all).

One of the few things that I dislike about my PB is when I pull it out of my bookbag, I press inward on both sides of the PB and the monitor hits the keys. The closing of the little tiny gap kills me. The sleeve helps alot, but I still can feel the top touching the bottom. I'm always afraid I'm gonna pull it out one time and the screen will be warped or something.
