Now what with the mail

I have a funny problem that is going on. Whenever I show new mail or even something I have sent and click on it the screen says "loading" and all is frozen for some reason. I have just deleted some but why can't I get my normal mail which loses the "not read" dot when I click on it?:confused:
 
Try removing the .plist file and see if the issue goes away.
User/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist
If you are on Lion you'll need to do a "Go>Go to Folder" and type in w/o quotes "~/Library"
