My MacBook Pro stopped wireless printing using airport and a Xerox Phasar 6180 lazer printer. The following message appears. Any suggestions? I have done everything apple suggests short of wiping my drive and reinstalling everything.

"usr/libexcc/cups/backend/dnssd failed"

CUPS is the printer subsystem for Linux-based OSes. Based on the error description, it sounds like that "dnssd" process is what is not working correctly. You might be able to reinstall the printer driver to fix the issue. Otherwise, you may have to reinstall part of the OS.
