Universal NPR One app on Apple TV - disable sleep?

I’ve recently downloaded the NPR One app and have it playing on my living room Apple TV while I have my coffee. It goes to screensaver and sleeps like nothing is playing and I can’t seem to find a way to prevent this from happening other than clicking a button on my remote when it goes to screensaver, which is inconvenient.

Is there a setting on the Apple TV I’m missing or is this an NPR issue?
