I have an issue with my NSPathControl on my Cocoa application. Basically it sets the Path Name on the menu to Steve's MacBook Pro. The problem is that on other peoples systems it also says "Steve's MacBook Pro" instead of their system name. What could possibly be causing this? How do you get NSPathControl to set its starting "default" path to the users main hard drive, and not the name of MY computer and hard drive?

That shows up on everyones system instead of replacing the values with their system information.

My guess is that you've not initialized the control, and it's showing a default path. Have you called setURL?
