Ntelos Iphone 4s.....

I noticed that my ntelos iphone 4s w/Ntelos has the sim card slot on the side, I know it's a cdma phone initially, is there an unlock that can be done on this phone to work on GSM carriers? I see/read about ATT unlocks, was wondering if it was available for Verizon/Sprint/Ntelos variants.

Gevey has a sim adapter that unlocks Sprint and verizon cdma 4S models but not 100% if it works on other carriers cdma locked 4S iphones.
Go to applenberry and ask them.

The gevey ultra s sim does indeed work with the ntelos 4s. When you insert the white reset sim choose other carrier and enter carrier code 2001064

But if your iphone 4S is updated to 6.0 then the gevey will be useless and wont be able to unlock it.
Just 5.1.1 or below versions.

No I still have mine on 5.1.1, jailbroken. So the gevey works, does any other method work? IMEI unlocks?

Only option is stay at 5.1.1 to continue to use the gevey or purchase an imei unlock.
Not sure if they sell them for the company your iphone is locked to but you can check on ebay or online.
Never mind, your 4S is a cdma iphone.
Then it definately not work with any other carriers.

Yes, best bet would be to sell it and get an unlocked one.
