iPod touch NTSC or PAL output in australia

hello, i am buying a 32gb i touch with k rudds handout and i have a question

is the video output selectable from a menu, or is it set to PAL in australia ?
i plan to use it in my car and the screen in the car is NTSC format. the dvd player i have is format selectable from a menu , is the i touch ?

Yes, the iPod, iPod Touch, and iPhone have setting to switch between NTSC and PAL.
