Nuforce HDP not working - help me install it!

Edit: My embarrassing bad - the unit was not on due to a bad plug...thanks!

p.s.: Actually I am still not sure why the digital out connection does NOT show anything under Audio MIDI Setup - is the HDP working or should I connect it ALSO with a USB cable in order to adjust settings? Please help!
