I have 5 users on my iMac, and the 10.6 Login Window shows 4 users in the list with a scroll bar to show the others. My username is listed last, of course, so I have to scroll.

Other than forcing the username/password login fields all the time, is there a way to display all 5 users in the Login Window?

I think you can modify the .nib file to show more users. I really don't know how though.

Don't have to scroll, or even touch the mouse (or trackpad) at all. Just type the first letter of your name (or the first 2 letters if that's what's needed due to of similar usernames), hit return, type password, hit return.

Done.

Yes, I know I can do that. However, I like how Windows 7 is able to show all five users horizontally across the screen.
