Number Port Question

When I signed up with AT&T and got my iPhone, they gave me a new number until me number port was completed. My number was ported from Sprint last Thursday, and I have been receiving calls, texts, etc. with the number that was ported (good so far). The question I have is when I sync with iTunes or go into Settings > Phone, it still shows my old number from before the port. Will this ever change to my current number? Thanks.
