Hi guys!
I am using numbers '08 to create a draft kit for fantasy football. In it, I have a column next to each player for each of the 17 weeks with a number 1-32. The numbers represent the strength of the opposing defense they are playing, 1 being the best defense and 32 being the worst.
I want to use the conditional formatting feature with the numbers. The way I envisioned it was this. If the number is 1, fill the cell with bright red (255,0,0). If the number is 2, fill the cell with a slightly greenish red (255,16,0) ... if the number is 16, fill the cell with a slightly reddish yellow (255,247,0), if the number is 17, fill the cell with a slightly greenish yellow (247,255,0) ... if the number is 31, fill the cell with a slightly reddish green (16,255,0) and if the number is 32, fill the cell with with bright green (0,255,0).
Using that method, there would be 32 "equal to" check boxes.
However, I ran into a problem. The filters stack onto each other, creating a very long window. At 13, my monitor run outs, I can no longer interact with the filter, as it is below where my mouse can click.
Any solutions? For this particular application, it is easy enough to use a range [bottom four teams get bright red, next four get (255,73,0), etc.] but for future reference does anybody have the answer? A way to click "below the screen" or get a higher resolution may work!
Thanks!
