Numbers -Drop Downs/Pop Ups, If, Then formula and exporting to Excel

I'm creating a sales worksheet form and have drop down boxes for the part numbers, terms, etc. I have two questions..

1. Is there a way to make an if, then statement in a cell - if part number 'x' is chosen then populate the next cell with 'y'? Or do I just need to create lots of drop downs?

2. Will drop down (or pop ups) export to excel?
