Numbers problem

When I enter data into my Numbers files on my ios, that data doesn't get updated in any other figures inside the spreadsheet. For example, if I have a simple sum function, which totals a row, and if I enter data into that row, that data doesn't show up in the box with the sum. This only happens on my iPad and iPhone, not on the osx app.

Any ideas?
